Lieut Olcott. Commanding Post. vs. Howard Coulson. Jr.
Charge.  Larceny.

Howard Coulson Jr. (cold.) On being asked what he had to say to the charge, Pleads Guilty, and states I was employed by Bvt. Lt. Col. Chipman as servant I was in the room cleaning the lamps. I found the money in a closet, and was tempted to take it. I did not know how much money I took, I did not know the money was in the closet until the day I took it. it was on Tuesday one week ago. next day I spent part of it. I bought some clothes at the stores, at Mr Gays. I bought several articles amounting to $13 65/100. I bought a Jacket at Mr. Wolfs. at $3.00/100, Hat 1.25/100, Handkerchief 25c. Breast Pin 25c Case 30c Oranges, Cigars and Drinks, $13.00.  I went to Hampton on Saturday and remained until Monday and spent $9.00, all the  money I had. I did not give any of the money to any person, except eighty cents I loaned to Coleman Dennis, and I have none of it in my possession.
