Lieut,
I have the honor to inform you that the enlisted men of your command stationed here, are quartered in the body of the Court House; and would recommend if they are to remain longer, that Camp Equipage be furnished them, as the Circuit Court sets Monday week and they would necessarily have to vacate.

I have no authority to have quarters & do not know if an expenditure of that nature will be allowed.

Lieut,
I have the honor to transmit herewith the accounts of Messrs Sample McClelland for Medicines. Dr. O. Hendrick for medical attention. Wash Palmer Co for horse shoeing, & A J Simmons for fuel transportation & rent of Stalls furnished the Detachment of the 34th US Infantry, and request that these vouchers be made up on proper forms and returned to this office as early as practicable, with information as to whom they should be forwarded for payment.
