Rebecca vs. Jas Madison
At breakfast time I had no rations felt with Abner Blewitt after all were about thro. when Madison came along and abused me in a most shamefull manner [[strikethrough]]G d a D [[/strikethrough]] G-a-d-ning me because I was a little late in getting thro my breakfast, which later was caused by the fact of my having no ration and only waited until I was asked to eat by Abner which was when all the rest were about thro  Was discharged  M requested to state cause &c 

Augt 4th
Danl Peyton, who commenced work for Frank Austin Jany 66 was driven off Feby 66 because as he says he didn't work enough to suit him. Squire Locke ordered him back. Afterwards left & worked for Judson Loyd who became security for the payment of $175 in damages claimed by Austin for violation of contract who now wishes to hold Peyton-


Geo Washington & Daniel Lomax Brothers v.s. John Shann

On last Sunday we were ordered off because our wives would not work for him. Danls wife had worked for the family & been discharged The women were not under Contract. Last night (Sunday) we were ordered to leave because Mr Shann on Saturday morning before starting for Macon told Danl to tell George no to go & see his wife  Did not tell Daniel not to go. Both went [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] Saturday noon - Their Contracts [[strikethrough]] give them [[/strikethrough]] to have Saturday afternoons - On the [[strikethrough]] even [[/strikethrough]] day of election told George that if he voted the radical ticket he would make me suffer him after for it. Made same remark to Daniel-

Shipman says that Parker went out 4 or 5 miles to pull his fodder. Was met on the road by a man who putting his hand on his revolver, asked how he voted- Said he was going to throw every one he met who had voted the Radical ticket-

Says she handed Maj Smiths note to Madison who said he wouldn't have  Did not intend to go to Macon again  I don't want any more of Mr Smiths papers - "To learn him & that pretty quick or he would hurt someone- (See Augt 4th). Gone to work for Capt Flournocy Brooksville.

Sept 1st

Tony says that Perrin struck his sister son Sambo. T. interfered & was driven off W.& Poles Perrin came next morning with their guns & forced off.
Referred to Squire Moore Cooksville

Sept 9th
Rachel March vs. B. Greer 
Hebler Place

Says Greer accused her of inability to feed her family & that she must steal. Feeds herself & get 1/5 which She remarked that she would rather he should have her entire crop than think she stole. Whereupon Greer struck her 5 times & not being able to punch her down. Struck her with a Hoe Handle breaking her finger. She made no resistance.
