Sir I would most respectfully make the following statement on behalf of Matilda Park. (freed woman) of this county, November, whose husband died 27th ult leaving an estate of some three hundred dollars in money & chattels, For her to proceed in the usual legal course to settle said estate it would be absorbed by lawyers and court fees
The premises considered I would respectfully ask you what would be the proper course to be pursued by her.
