Dear Sir
The communication of Maj Geo S Smith dated "Nov 6th" & through you forwarded to me, under date of Nov 9th, has been duly recd  In your endorsement upon said communication you direct me not to "permit the removal or disposal of the interest of any crop raised or being raised belonging to the N.C. Jones."
   
I beg leave to state that the articles of agreement between Maj N.C. Jones & myself are signed by N.C. Jones as agent for his wife Theo Jones. Maj Jones stated to me at the time, that the property which he represented on my place, was his wifes & signed the agreement between us accordingly. A copy of said agreement now in my possession is subject to your inspection
