The State of Mississippi
Noxubee County 

Know all men by these present that W.D. Dobbins, and W.M. Hendrix farming together this year on this Ivy place in said County. For and in consideration of the sum of Twenty five hundred dollars heretofore advanced us by James Longstreet for the purpose of carrying on said farm this year. We do hereby bargin, sell and deliver unto said James Longstreet all the crop of cotton and corn made by us on said plantation this year. whither picked, gined or gathered or in the field. being from eighty to one hundred bales of cotton, and about five thousand bushels of corn. And we do make bargin, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] sell and deliver said cotton and corn as payment of said sum of twenty five hundred dollars aforesaid, and we transfer assign and deliver all our right title interest and claims whatsoever of in and to said cotton & corn. 

Given under our hands and seals this twentieth day of November. A.D. 1867.
