Shuqualak March 5th/68

To the Agent of the Freedmen, Bureau Macon Miss:
I write you in behalf of a colored man who is now living on my land, and I think has been badly treated by the employees of the Mobile and Ohio Rail Road. 
Andrew White (or Ware as he is sometimes called) was hired by Mr. Mc Kelvin (the section master near Wahalak Depot, to work on the road, and so far as I can ascertain gave satisfaction. At the close of last year the road was indebted to him for eight months work at thirty two dollars per month. He has tried in vain to collect the money, and I now appeal
