I submit for your consideration my report of settlement of the "Ames Case" the matter was placed in my hands in January last after it had been partially settled by Mr Reed, whose statement of am't of corp, rent, &c I embody herein.
   
The total amt of cotton (seed) was Seventeen thousand five hundred & seventy eight lbs which was sold to Bevil and Pateson at (2) two cts per lb amtg to ($351.56) three hundred & fifty one dollars & fifty six cts
