34 Alex Crawford, Colored Abe King, White
Complaint of having been ordered away from place for voting Republican Ticket, Ordered parties to appear before me for investigation. Case settled satisfactorily to both parties.

35 Colonel Wallace, Colored vs. Mr. Riley White
Complaint of having turned off the place for voting the Republican Ticket, Summoned parties to appear for investigation. Ordered Colonel Wallace back or Riley to pay him for the whole year, prefered the former. Case settled by Riley receiving Wallace back on the place.

36 Ben Norman, Colored vs. Reuben Castle, White
Complaint of having been turned off the place for keeping two little puppies, and refusing to send them off the place. Case investigated and Norman ordered back, or Castle to pay him for the whole year. Case settled by Norman being taken back to remain the balance of the year.

37 Richmond Kitchen, Colored vs John Kaiser, White
Complaint of having been turned off the place for having told some one that Kaiser had had some difficulty with your son, Ordered Kaiser to receive Kitchen back,, or to pay him for the whole year. Parties appeared, and upon investigation Kitchen was ordered back to the place. Case settled by Kaisers receiving Kitchen back to complete his contract.

38 William Mitchell, Colored vs. James Robinson.
Complaint that his daughter has been ill used and wants to get her from Robinson,, Parties appeared, and case investigated. Case settled by the daughter being delivered to Mitchell her Father.

39 Ann Taylor, Colored vs. Robb. Nealand
Complaint of being discharged without pay for defending the cause of her children, when they had been, unmercifully beaten, by Mr. Nealands children. Summoned both parties to appear instant Investigated the case and Ann refused to go back. Case settled by Nealand paying Ann, for work allready done which was satisfactory to both parties.

40 Phillip Smith, Colored vs Rudolph Browse.
Complaint that Browse wants to hire hands to work the crops when it is not necessary to do so. The hand refuse to hire because they think the crops do not need extra work. Refered it to two Planters who report after investigation that the crop is suffering for want of being work. Case settled by permitting Browse to hire sufficient labour to relieve the crop.

41 Joe Jackson Colored vs. Henry R. Hampton.
Complaint about a debt to the amount of twelve dollars ($12.00) with interest which could not be collected. Parties appeared and the case was investigated but could find no money to pay the debt. Case settled by Hampton giving his Note payable on the 1st of Jany. 1869 which is satisfactory.
