Complains that Sims owes him $11. 12 1/2/100 and requests me to collect same for him which I am endeavoring to do

22 Mr. McGehee vs Charles Scott cold. Complains that Charles is living on his place without his permission and requests that he be sent off, Case settled by Charles building himself a house which he will move into in a few days satisfactory

23. Thomas Porter cold. vs. W. & S. Chambers
Complains that he has been discharged without satisfactory reasons and without pay. Requested Mr. Chambers to call that the matter might be explained, which he did and a settlement was made between the parties satisfactory to both.

24 Ben. Rab. cold. vs. Peter Stocket
Complains that Stocket refuses to divide the cotton with him according to contract, but claims the right to ship all the cotton and divide the proceeds. Ordered the cotton divided, as specially agreed upon in the contract which order was complied with

25 Sally Sprigs cold vs Daniel Spriggs cold.
Complains that Daniel who is her husband has abandoned her and that she is diseased by him and is not able to support herself or to procure medicine to cure herself. Ordered Daniel to appear and make arrangement for the support of Sally which he did. Case settled by Daniel providing a house and furnishing victuals for her.

26 Henry & Robert Rush cold vs. T.W. Brown
complains that they have rented land from Mr. Brown, and that they want a contract or agreements. Summoned Mr. Brown and had a contract made which was satisfactory

27 Anderson cold vs. Thompson (Amite County) 
Complains that Thompson assaulted and beat him with a club. Sent it before Justice Hoff when the case was compromised by Thompson paying Anderson $10.00/100 [[?]] charge satisfactory

28 Mary Jackson cold. vs. Tolbert Roy cold (Amite Co)
Complains that Tolbert committed an Assault and Battery upon her. Sent them before Justice Hoff, who upon trial of the case fined Tolbert to pay ten dollars, and sentenced him to imprisonment in the county jail for thirty days.
