35 Edmund Webb. cold vs. Margaret Willis, cold
Complains that Margaret has separated from him and married again (said separation took place in 1863) that Margaret has three children which Edmund wants possession of them. Upon investigation, I find that there are five children the oldest two being in the possession of the Father (Edmund) and the three youngest three with their Mother Margaret. Case settled by the children remaining where they are, as each party is willing and fully able to support them and Edmund is to pay Margaret twenty dollars ($20.00) on the 1st of Jany 1869.

36 Lewis Berry cold. vs. P. Radcliffe (Amite Cony. 
Complains of a violent Assault and Battery by Radcliffe. I sent the case before Justice Hoff of Amite County. for settlement

37 Dallas Harden (C) vs Wm. A. McNealy
Complains that he has been ordered of the place for refusing to let McNealy Shipp his cotton otherwise than marked at his own Sepparate mark ordered cotton to be marked as they wish after the division has been made on the place

Complains that he refuses to divide the cotton on the place & wishes to ship it all under his own name  ordered division made on the place

Complains of having been discharged with all loss of pay because his wife was caught Stealing corn out of the field
ordered man back

40 Ann Johnson (6) vs William Brown
Complains of having been discharged from the place for refusing to let her daughter return & waite on his wife  Ann claims that she is not properly treated, & is daily being beat and as there was no contract made & the girl was only working for victuals & cloths I decided in favor of Ann

41 M. Newman (C) vs John Johns
Complains of having been discharged for not turning out in tim in the morning. Sent for parties charge Sustained & Newman must go at once
