Respectfully returned to Capt. S.P. Lee, S.A.C. with information that Mr. Klappenburg has not yet settled this debt and that in consequence of sickness in the family of Mr. Edmunds (freedman) they are liable to be thrust on the Government for support, I trust that the Bureau of the Interior will cause the amount which Klappenburg owes Edmunds to be stopped against his monthly pay, as he will never pay a debt until compelled to.

Respectfully returned, for further report. How many cars are the colored people excluded from. It is not understood that cars with certain numbers were to be used by colored people, but that such cars were to be known by not having a ball displayed on their top. Did Car number six have a ball displayed?
