If the dates &c of the missing applications are sent, enquiries will be made for them.

It is recommended in this case that the within papers be referred to Capt. R. S. Lacey, Bu: R.F. & A.L. Agent 7th. Dist. Va. at Lynchburg, and that he be directed to report the result of the suit referred to in the within papers, as soon as it shall have been made by the court to which an appeal has been taken; and that an order be issued directing Capt. Lacey to return to said Pleasant Partin the horse referred to in the within papers (not in possession of John Michel of Rockbridge County Va.) to be by him held until the determination of said case and further orders from these Hd. Qrs
