Respectfully returned to Maj: W.R. Morse, S.A.C. with the information that the records of this office show that Jack Brady and Clara Henderson were cohabiting as man and wife Feby 27th 1866 and that they are registered as such, such cohabitation having commenced in 1858. I am cognizant of this case & the statement as made within I believe to be true - I can see no way for Jack & Eliza Brady to again get together unless Jack first procures a decree of the Circuit Court or other authority for divorce from Clara.
