C.C. Brown states that he paid to Miles Hooket, one hundred and eighty dollars ($180) being the full amount of a check drawn by Wolf Hart & Co. - that he charged Hooket no fee for - and got no money from him that he is still due Hooket One hundred dollars ($100) additional Bounty for which his claim and discharge is now in the office of the 2nd Auditor, Washington D.C.
The claim of Samuel Higgins and Mary Anne Bell, he states were forwarded by him to the 2nd Auditors but not since heard from -
I enclose herewith a list of persons whom Brown informs me, will be paid by Wolf Hart & Co. - when the receipts for their discharges are received by Brown. I would suggest that the receipts if sent by mail - be sent through this Office.

Respectfully returned to Bvt Maj J.H. Remington S.A.C. Rose Riddick never filed a claim with me, her name is not on the records of this office as having filed a claim with any of my predecessors. She probably left it with some claim agent. I would suggest that the name of the person with whom the discharge was left be given.
