Dilligent inquiry as to the whereabouts of Richard Jones former Slave of Burton Jones. and his two sons Thomas and John, have been made. I learn that they left the service of Mr Jones sometime during the winter of 63 & 64. That Richard was in Norfolk about the 1st of January 1867. since which time nothing has been heard of him. I can learn nothing of the other two since they left

No such man as Lewis Randall lives on Tanners Creek. Road. The only person of that name in that portion of the County are Easton and Nelson Randall  Notice was published in the different Colored churches in the city and County asking information of his whereabouts - No one appears to know him. If the name of the person with whom he was living when last heard from was given. he might be found.
