The Bureau returns Enclosed, the papers of Octavius Edmonds and states that the Bureau of Medicine & Surgery has no record of his death at the Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Va. nor does his name appear on the Muster Rolls received by this Bureau from the Str. "Minnesota" during 1863-'64 and '65, nor is any record found of his Enlistment in the Naval Service, or transfer from from the Army.
