Received back, December 27/67.

Hd Qrs, 2nd Sub District, Va.
Petersburg, Va. Decr 26/67.

Respectfully returned to Bvt. Brig: Genl, O. Brown Asst. Commr. inviting attention to enclosed letter from Andrew Bolling, I think there is no doubt but that the trunk referred to in the enclosed communication from the Genl Supt, of the N.O. & Jackson R.R. Co: belongs to Bowling, the Agt of the F.S.&T. Co. having probably mispelled his name in the certificate. By comparing the amount given in the enclosed letter from Bowling, with the amount of certificate, his claim to the Trunk will probably be confirmed.
I would respectfully request that the proper Officer be instructed to forward the Trunk, in care of this office, by Express.
