Respectfully forwarded to Major Geo: Q. White, Chf Q.M. and D.O. This building in question is not needed for any present Bureau purpose being one of the group forming the H'd Qrs, of the Confed, Med: Dept at Danville.
I would suggest that the building be turned over to the colored people for removal and, if they deem proper, to sell, and use proceeds, as would evidently be the better course, no objection or the part of the Government to be interposed.
