Captain With the least practicable delay you will forward to this office, in charge of Mr Pierce employee B.R.F. & A L all the Books blanks, and other records pertaining to the Sub Dist of Lauderdale, as directed in S.O. No 53, Office Sub Ass't. Commiss. July 5th 1867. Mr Pierce will be retained on duty in this office, until a competent clerk can be secured, and he will be instructed to make preparations accordingly Respectfully Your Obt.
