I enclose herewith the letter you gave me in Charleston, S.C. when I was there last. If you carried out the instructions contained in this letter and have never heard from the discharge or the blank you filled out or notified that your claim has been settled, my advice to you is to write at once to the "Second Auditor of the Treasury" Washington D.C. elating the facts of the case and enclosing this letter of Britton and  Gray . This is the only way by which you will be able to find out anything about your claim
