Dear Sir
I received information some time since that my claim for bounty &c as mother of Nicholas Woolfolk decd late a soldier in the war, has been allowed, by the Department, and that you would communicate direct with me. If it is ready for payment I would be pleased that you forward the same to me, by Draft or Express, as suits your convenience.

Any communication you may have to make please address "Harriet Woolfolk. Brandenburg, Ky. care of C.C. Fairleigh, & much oblige
