State of Kentucky County of Greenup

I Jackson Scott, state under oath that I am the identical Jackson Scott who served in the war of 1861 
as a private in Co. H. 100 Regiment U.S. Colored Infantry, and that his pay and Bounty was settled by the Second Auditors Office about March 1872 as per the letter of the Second Auditor L. B. French and a Certificate No 425.715 was granted him for One Hundred Ninety two 57/100 Dollars, dated March 25th 1872, the same has not been paid him and the same is now due him excepting ten dollars paid to his Attorney Jeremiah Davidson of Greenup C.H Ky
He futher states that he is working at Old Town Greenup Kentucky and his post office to which he wishes his check sent is Greenup C.H. Greenup County Ky.
