[[stamp]] RECEIVED FR. BR. A. G. O. APR 10 1873 [[/stamp]] Re'd Louisville April 21st/73 First indorsement. War Department Adjutant General's Office April 12. 1873 0 Respectfully referred to Major A.P. Howe, 4th Artillory Disbursing Officer Louisville Ky to whom funds in the case of Bettey Lee, as widow of Hiram Sproggins late of Co K. 39th U.S.C.T. were sent on 7th inst. Upon satisfactory evidence of the death of Claiborne Taul named within, Major Howe will, in accordance with Circular from this office of Feby 5, 1873, deposit the amount of funds in the case to the credit of the Treasurer of the U.S. and forward original certificate of deposit to the Secretary of the Treasury through this office.
