Dear Sir,
I have received your letter of the 24th instant informing me that my claim for Bounty &c as mother of George Steel, has been settled and that the disbursing officer will be at Bowling Green, some time soon to pay it.
   
I hereby request you to send the  papers necessary to be signed and my check to either of the following parties viz:

James A. Wallace Cashiers Bank of Hopkinsville
or G.B. Long Asst U.S. Assessor
or S H Burbridge Post Master

Either of the above parties will see that justice is done me and if
