a colored man who is known to me to be respectable and entitled to full credit, and who being first-duly sworn on his oath states that he has known Willis Jones for over five years last past, and that from his conversations and his acquaintance with him, he believes him to be the same Willis Jones that was a private in Co "K" 16" N.S.C.J. he also states that he has no interest direct or indirect in the Claim of said Jones for bounty.
