I have to inform you that the instructions from this office of the 1st inst. directing Major Geo. Gibson 5th Infty. Disb'g. Officer at Memphis Tenn, to transfer to you funds &c in the case of Samuel Story, deceased, late Pvt. Co D. 4th U. S. C. H. A. (information of which was given you in endorsement from this office of same date) have been revoked, Major Gibson having reported, under date of the 7th inst. that he had previously communicated with the claimants and expected that in the course of a few days they would present themselves
