Dear Sir
Your favor of [[?]] to hand I want my money very bad and if you will fix the day I can see you at Louisville I will Come for it, tho I think it hard that the Govt will put me to so much Expense to get my money. My papers are all ready and I can fully identify myself and have witnesses with the County Clerks certificate and seal of the County. Cant you not expressing me the money to S T Fortrine the Express Agt at Allensville who is a negro's friend and a Magistrate and gentleman and will take any rept you may want of me and be responsible for the money and knows me. This will save me money and time and I am Employed by the month on a farm and the crop is very pushing now 

I will pay Express agt & thank you too and will forward you the papers you originally sent me and the affadavit of his parties to my identity  clerks certificate & county seal if you prefer it. Please let me hear from you immediately
