We, Monroe Hunter and James Rice, of Eddyville parish or county of Lyon and State of Kentucky do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of Henry Brooks and have been well acquainted with him for 25 years and 9 years respectively; that he is the identical Henry Brooks that he represents himself to be Henry Brooks
who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company "F", 100 Regiment US Colored Infty Vols and that we are not, jointly or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said Henry Brooks has or may have against the United States.
