Flanagan wishes to ascertain what course to pursue, to recover the share of cert #591.051, issued part in fav of Sally Noland, a minor child of Henry Noland, late Co A, 6th C. Cav'y. Sally's guardian is dead, and she is married. Her brother has recd his share of the cert. Received, P. & B.D., 2nd Aud., , 187 Answd Aug 14 1873. [[stamp]] Received Fr. Br. A.G.O. US.A. for his consideration The claim was settled June 26th 1872 and certificate 591.051. sent to the Commissioner of the Freedmans Bureau. C.F. August 14, 1873 Respectfully referred to Major A P Howe 4th Arty Disbursing Officer, Louisville Ky, in connection with instructions in this case furnished under date of May 20, 1873. Mr Flanagan has been informed of the necessity for the appointment of another guardian for Sally Noland and that Major Howe will pay the amount in the case to such guardian upon presenting himself at such time and place as may be designated with duly authenticated copy of letters of guardianship.
