August 14th 1873

Dear sir Abraham Russell of [[strikethrough]] Coror [[/strikethrough]] collor Received a letter from you dated May 23 informing him that he would get his bounty money on the 20 of June at Cairow [Cairo] Ill.  

Said Russell did not get your letter untill the time had pased and he believed it would be to late. to do any thing. He got me to write to you to know where he must go Louisville will suit him as well as cairow. you told him enclosed he would find a form. but he sayes when he received the letter [[strikethrough]] form [[/strikethrough]] ther was no form in it. He sayes pleas send him a form and where he candraw his money at the earliest possible time. He sayes directs your letter to Sam. W. Taylor Morganfield Union County Ky.
