Voucher no. 57 of your Pay & Bounty account for May, 1874. being the receipt of Ashford Mays, as late 
private Co. A 107 U.S.C.T., for proceeds (less fees) of Treasury Certificate No. 611682, cannot be allowed, the records of this Office showing that the proceeds of said Certificate were payable to Alford Mays of said company and regiment.  The duly witnessed receipt of the latter is required in place of the voucher mentioned above.
