Dear Sir

Lucinda Nelson requests one to say to you that she was some days since delivered of a likely freeman not yet two weeks old and that she will be unable to meet you at Bowling Green on 11th Inst

She asks if you will not be at Munfordsville Horse Cave Glasgow or Edmunton some time soon  She says she has already taken one trip to Bowling Green a long distance and she is of delicate condition and failed to see you and if convenient to you she would like to have you appoint some nearer place of meeting if not she will probably come to Louisville where she supposes she will not be [[?]] to one day between the hours of 9 AM & 2 P.M.  Respectfully
