NARA 821 State of Tennessee Davidson County} This day personally appeared before me T.D. Cassetty an acting Justice of the peace for said County, Patrick Bass and made oath in due form of law, that he knew Watson Patterson intimately twenty years before he Died, and I know that said Patterson was never married but twice and had only two children by his first wife. There names were Willis and Jane Sherrell, I know that his second wife had no children, I also kno that both of his wifes are dead, I also know that Watson Patterson died about two months after he was discharged from the United States Service Sworn and Subscribed to before me This 12th July 1877 TD Cassetty (JP) Patrick Bass his X mark attest H.S. Horn
