and helpt to shell Fort Sumter and the next place was to Manansville in Georgia after the Rebles left Savannah we went there & staid there awhile & from there we went to charlston South Carolina the next [[strikethrough]] place [[/strikethrough]] raid we made was to a place they called the name of place Summersvill about seven Miles from Charlston on the Columbia Railroad and from that we went to gorge Town in South Carolina and from George Town to Sumterville South Carolina in a Mile of Sumterville we had a fight and from your staid at Sumterville a day & night & from there we went to Manan a little Town in South Carolina & from there we went Back to George Town [[strikethrough]] under [[/strikethrough]] in that raid we was under Genral Poter another Raid that we had was in Florda under Genral Seamore My Col's name Holaway I have stated a few places enowght to satisfied you I am in hopes that I am the same Anderson Dickson that was in the 54 Mass Regment Company B
