Referring to Paragraph 2, Special Order No. 141 dated "Headquarters of the Army, Adjutant General's Office, Washington, July 1, 1878"; you will close your duties as a disbursing officer on July 15th instant, and transfer to Major G G Huntt, 1st Cavalry, Chief Disbursing Officer, all funds, books, papers, &c in your possession pertaining to your duties as disbursing officer, together with such stationery as you may then have on hand, exclusive of ink and mucilage. Your office-furniture, you will transfer, for safe-keeping, to the officers of the Quartermaster's Department at or nearest to your
