You will notify the lessors of your office that the lease will terminate on July 15th, instant, and on that date will discharge your clerk and janitor to take effect on August 15 1878. Vouchers for service of your clerk and janitor to cover the period will be paid by Major Huntt, Chief Disbursing Officer.
