Willis Jones (Pvt., K Co., 16 Regt. U.S.C.T.) was born in Trigg Coy. Kentucky, enlisted the 3rd day of March 1864, at Clarksville Tenn by C.B. Morse, and was mustered in the 3rd day of March, 1864, at Clarksville Tenn., by Lieut Ernest, for 3 years.
 
At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet 5 inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 30 day of April, 1866, at Nashville Tenn; Capt. James L. Passell was commanding officer, and Allen Gaines First Sergeant at time of soldiers ___. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Salem Coleman enlisted day of ___, 186_ and Charles Rulliford enlisted ___ day of ___, 186_.
