John Lawson, Pvt. Co C.109 Regt. U.S.C.T. was born in Bourbon Co Ky., was enlisted the 2 day of June, 1864, at Lexington Ky, by Capt. TH Moore, and was mustered in the 2 day of June, 1864, at Lexington K, by Capt T. H. Moore, for 3 years.
At the time of enlistment he was 18 years old, and 5 feet 4 inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] or died [[/strikethrough]] 6 day of February, 1866, at Port. Lavaca Tx Capt. John F. Lamme was commanding officer, and Henry Washington First Sergeant at time of soldiers discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: John J. Jackson, enlisted 2 day of June, 1864, and Anderson Robinson enlisted 2 day of June, 1864.
