Mustered--When June 1864 Where Camp Nelson By whom Col'n Sedgewick Description--Where born Mercer Co., Ky, Age 28 years. Occupation Farmer Eyes Black Hair Black Complexion Black Height 5 feet 5 1/4 inches. Discharged [[strikethrough]] or died [[/strikethrough]] Brasos Santiago Texas on day of Aprile, 1867 Commanding Officer Capt. Phelps First Sergeant Henry Maywood Enlisted about the same time and place. REMARKS. Slave of James Harden, Mercer Co. Ky. when Enlisted. Was a Capt. about 1 [[strikethrough]] 6 [[/strikethrough]] months then a Sergt, and a private about four months before discharged. Sargt Reid. Mustered out with Co. Pvt. Geo. Nottingham died at Camp Nelson. Pvt. Henry Jackson deserted from Ft. Monroe.
