Felix Ross, Artificer, "B" Co., 12th Regt. U.S.C. A (Hy) was born in Fayette Co. K'y, was enlisted the 12 day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson K'y, by J.C. Randolph, and was mustered in the 22 day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson K'y, by Capt. N.C. Kinney, for Three years. At the time of enlistment he was 37 years old, and 5 feet 8 inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) 24 day of April, 1866, at Louisville K'y; Capt. H.F Potter was commanding officer, and George Shakespeare First Sergeant at time of soldiers discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place: James Massey enlisted 12 day of July, 1864, and Robert Thomas enlisted 12 day of July, 1864.

Borne as Slave of Harvey Scott on M.I. Roll whose residence is not given.
Joined at original organization.
Borne as an Artificer for the first time on Roll of Co for March and April 1865.
Present and mustered out with Co. (an Artificer.).
Personal description: Black eyes. Black hair.
Black complexion.  Occupation: Farmer.
