Noah Goatley, c Co., 107th Regt. U.S.C. Troops was born in Washington Ky, was enlisted the 19th day of July, 1864, at Lebanon Ky, by Captain Fidler, and was mustered in the 21st day of July, 1864, at Lebanon Ky, by Captain Fidler, for 3 years. At time of enlistment he was 28 years old, and 5 feet 9 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or-[[/strikethrough]]died 19th day of August, 1864, at New Albany Ind.; Captain F. Henry Hathaway was commanding officer, and Harrison Moore First Sergeant at time of soldiers death. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: J. S. Hayden enlisted 19th day of July, 1864, and Anthony Johnson enlisted 19th day of July, 1864.

2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted.

Joined the original organization. On Roll from organization to October 31, 1864 he is reported: "Died August 29, 1864 at U.S. Army General Hospital No. 6, New Albany Ind. of Pneumonia" and is so accounted for on Muster-out Roll. A final statement, on file in this office, signed by the Surgeon in Charge of the hospital where the soldier died gives date of death August 19, 1864- Reported "slave" owned in Kentucky on Company Muster Roll from organization to October 31, 1864. Occupation: Farmer; black complexion; black eyes; black hair
