Frank Sewsbury, Private Co., "K" 123d Regt. U.S.C. Troops, was born in Henrico, Virginia, was enlisted the 20th day of July, 1864, at Bowling Green Ky, by Capt. Hobson, and was mustered in the 20th day of July, 1864, at Bowling Green Ky,, by Capt. Hobson, for three years.
At the time of enlistment he was Forty nine years old, and Five feet 9 1/2 inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 28th day of June from Hospital 1865, at New Albany, Ind.; Capt Miles Hollister was commanding officer, and Henderson Harris First Sergeant at time of soldiers discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at our about same time and place: Jerry Porter enlisted 21st day of July, 1864, and Anderson Wood enlisted 19th day of July, 1864.

No record of Free or slave status. Joined at original organization, Dischg'd for Pulmonary consumption existing prior to enlistment, on Cert of Disability; Floating Hosptl "Ohio". Roll for May and June 1865. "Absent sick in U.S. General Hosptl, since Oct. 25, 1864," and so reported on all Rolls to date of Discharge.
