Jasper Wilson, Pvt. Co., C. 8 Regt. U.S.C. H Arty. was born in Trigg Ky., was enlisted the 16 day of August, 1864, at Paducah Ky, by Capt Hall, and was mustered in the 31 day of August, 1864, at Paducah, by Capt. Hall, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 26 years old, and 5 feet 9 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged [[/strikethrough]] (or died) 4 day of July, 1865, at New Orleans La,; Capt. E.L. Chapman was commanding officer, and Moses Gregory First duty Sergeant at time of soldiers Death. The following are names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Sam Shelton enlisted 16 day of August, 1864, and David Vaughn enlisted 16 day of August, 1864.
