William Turner Pvt, "C" Co., 13th Regt. U.S.C.A. (Hy) was born in Kentucky, Town or County not stated, was enlisted the 14 day of February, 1865, at Paducah Ky, by Capt Morgan, and was mustered in the 27th day of February, 1865, at Paducah Ky, by Capt. Morgan, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 45 years old, and 5 feet 7 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 13 day of March, 1865, at Smithland Ky; Capt Wm Botimer was commanding officer, and Charles Mason First Sergeant at time of soldiers death. The following are names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Joshua Bell enlisted 14 day of February, 1865, and Samuel Chapman enlisted 14 day of February, 1865.
