Ben Franklin. Private, "D" Co., 100th Regt. U.S.C. Inf'y was born in Harrison Co. State of Kentucky, was enlisted the 2d day of June, 1864, at Covington K'y, by Major Mitchell, and was mustered in the 2d day of June, 1864, at Covington Ky, by Maj H.A. Mitchell, Pro Mar, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 22 years old, and 5 feet 9 1/2 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 2d day of January, 1865, at Nashville Tenn. in Gen. Hosp'l No. 16; 1st Lieut Francis Lisko was commanding officer, and Henderson Morgan First Sergeant at time of soldiers Death. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Miles Conrad enlisted 2d day of June, 1864, and Joseph Eval enlisted 2d day of June, 1864.
