Abraham Gillum, B" Co., 115" Regt. U.S.C. Troops was born in Logan, Kentucky, was enlisted the 4" day of August, 1864, at Bowling Green Ky by Capt A G Hobson, and was mustered in the 31st day of August, 1864, at Bowling Green Ky by Capt A G Hobson, for three years. At the time of enlistment he was Nineteen years old, and five feet seven 1/2 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died 2d day of July, 1865, at Ft Monroe Va; 2d Lieut R M Brockus was commanding officer, and Samuel Ramsey First Sergeant at time of soldiers death. The following are names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Francis Fishback enlisted 4" day of August, 1864, and John C Ely enlisted 4" day of August, 1864.
