William Henson Private, "E" Co., 100th Regt. U.S.C. Inf'y was born in Knox Co. State of Tennessee, was enlisted the 4th day of June, 1864, at Covington K'y, by Major Mitchell, and was mustered in the 4th day of June, 1864, at Covington K'y, by Maj: H.A. Mitchel, Act'g Pro: Mar:, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 25 years old, and 5 feet 4 inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 26th day of December, 1865, at Nashville Tenn:; Capt'n Thomas C. Lind was commanding officer, and Green Fish First Sergeant at time of soldiers Discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Robert H. Crittenden enlisted 4th day of June, 1864, and William Stearn enlisted 4th day of May, 1864.

Joined Co. at Orig'l Org'n. Muster rolls from Aug: 31st/64. to Oct. 31st/65. "Present for duty." He was present and mustered out with Co.
