(Form 24.) William Emby Private Co, "B" 114th Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Madison Co. Ky, was enlisted the 10th day of June, 1864, at London Ky, by Capt. Hayes, and was mustered in the 16th day of June, 1864 at London Ky, by Capt. Hayes for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 27 years old, and 5 feet 8 1/2 inches high, black complexion, black eyes, black hair, and by occupation a farmer. He was discharged (or died)(strikethrough) 2nd day of April 1867 at Brazos Santiago Texas. 1st Lieut John M. Conklin was commanding officer and Robert Harman first sergeant at time of soldier's discharge. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. Joined at original organization. From organization to October 31st 1864 reported "Sick in Genl Hospt Camp Nelson Ky Since August 23rd 1864 on subsequent rolls to October 331 1866 present for duty. on rolls Nov & Dec 1866 reported "on daily duty as company cook since Nov 1866" Jany & Feby 1867 reported as "on daily duty in Q.M.
