REMARKS.
George was a Slave of Oliver Farell Jessamine Co. when he enlisted. 
Sarah was a slave of Mrs. Robert Simpson Fayette Co. Ky. at that time. She was married to George about 3 years before he Enlisted. her Maiden Name was Sarah Lewis, and was married by a Colored Preacher. Witnesses on applic'n were Horace Mack and Hiram King.
